We had a full dress rehearsal at 5:30pm before the REAL performance went LIVE. But when the curtains opened for our first performance, it went off with a blast!
Here are some teaser photos taken from one of our full dress rehearsals. Photos have been taken by Pearly Chin.

Judith Cottier Theatre
Full dress rehearsals are just around the corner.
It's hard to imagine that we will be on stage this time next week with our opening show.
The dance group will be working pretty hard over the weekend with rehearsals booked for both days. It is practice, practice & more practice!!
A few pressure points though this week, as last minute cheoreography is still under way.
Here are a few photos of the beautiful theatre we will be dancing in. =)

3 Weeks to Curtain Call!!
Great job everyone!!
With only three weeks left until the stage is lit and the show commences, the dancers of Chung Wah Dance have been hitting the training hard to make the show a sure success.
The training regime has been is 3 times at week, and as the D-Day approaches it looks like we will be revving it up.
Only a couple of scenes are left to be choreographed and everyone is starting to feel the production truly coming together as we have all planned. We are now running the scenes back to back and fine tuning as we go.
Today's training was a tough 5 hours, commencing with bar exercises. Today's focus was on the finalisation of the 'Students' scene. We are now trying to locate a well known and loved Chinese song in the 60s and 70s to accompany this scene. Possible artists include Teresa Deng who was a well loved and renowned singer in that era.
